Daniel Maguire is a reality TV participant, certified personal trainer, world traveler, and model from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, from Thompson Rivers University’s, with a major in psychology, where he studied in Kamloops, BC.

Daniel’s travels began in Australia on a study-abroad program, and have since have taken him to every continent except Antarctica. He has backpacked India, South East Asia, South and Central America, and Africa. Daniel’s career as a model brought him to Milan, Munich, Istanbul, and Los Angeles.

As a reality TV show participant, Daniel thoroughly enjoyed his experiences on the hit shows The Bachelorette (season 12), and Bachelor in Paradise (Season 3), Celebrity Family Feud season 3, and appearances on the Steve Harvey Show, and The Bachelor Canada After show. Since then, he feels he has become more confident with who he is as a person. Daniel has been able to increase his self-awareness and has become more open and honest. He truly enjoys being on reality television and looks forward to taking part in more in the future.

In 2008, Daniel’s father was in a mountain biking accident and became a quadriplegic. After the accident, Daniel spent his summers between 2010 and 2015 helping his father and maintaining their family home. In 2013, Daniel had an unfortunate accident as well, getting hit by a car while on his motorcycle, which nearly killed him. These events, combined with Daniel’s journeys, have shaped his views on what truly matters in life. “I think we need to enjoy life while we can. I don’t see the point of having a boring career, trying to accumulate wealth, only to die never having spent any of the money, not living a fulfilling life as we age,”

Daniel says. “My competitive nature and pride, makes me want to continue doing, seeing, and achieving as much as possible. I want to live life to the fullest and believe that after I am gone, I will have lived a life that people will want to make a movie about.

Daniel enjoys the travel lifestyle so much that his aspirations are to possibly open a hostel in South or Central America. Overall, he considers staying active to be one of the most important things in his life. Exercise makes Daniel feel and looks great. It also helps him to stay mentally sharp. He believes that maintaining a healthy lifestyle, will allow him to live a longer and better life.
