Diandra Forrest is an African American model/ actress born and raised in New York. Her modeling career began when she was scouted by fashion photographer Shameer Khan in 2009. Since then her unique beauty has caught the attention of many magazines including Marie Claire, Glamour, Paper, French, Essence and Tatler to name a few. She has graced the covers of Traffic, WAD, Umno, Blonde, Ebony and U Magazine. Diandra has walked in numerous fashion shows internationally including two of her favorites Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier. Her striking presence has landed her in artistic projects such as Kanye West’s “Power” and most recently standing alongside Beyonce in her Music video “Pretty Hurts”. Being the first model with albinism to be signed to a major modeling agency, Diandra has been featured in multiple TV specials including ABC’s “20/20”, “Inside Edition”, “The Tyra Banks Show”, “RTL” and “Prosieben” (German TV).  Along with Diandra’s passion for fashion she has also been very involved in humanitarian work. Working with (ACN) on their Tanzania Project fundraiser which provides food, safe housing, and educational opportunities for Tanzanians with albinism. She has also been very vocal in countless interviews about her want to change the perceptions of people with albinism, more-so help women fully embrace their beauty of all shapes, sizes, and complexions. In her latest interview for the United Nations “Albinism Awareness Campaign,” she speaks about some of her hopes for persons with albinism.
