Tiffany Reid, Native New Yorker, studied undergrad at Temple University as a double major in Advertising and Psychology. During her undergrad tenure she interned in fashion pr as well as publications such as Allure Magazine. Post graduation she landed her dream internship at W Magazine working in the accessories department. After spending a summer at W, she was on a desperate hunt for a job in magazines but could not find a position at the time. This caused her to jump back into her background in psychology and she soon landed a position as Project Director at Ipsos Market Research Company. Here she worked in between the New York and Chicago offices, managing clients such as Kraft and Colgate on marketing initiatives. After not feeling fulfilled in her career, she reached back out to her contacts at W magazine and landed a part-time freelance position. A few months later she was hired as a full time closet assistant at More Magazine, finally transitioning back into the career of her dreams. She then moved to InStyle magazine to assist the Accessories Director with the accessories market. Here she learned about what it takes to be a market editor, pulling clothing/accessories for photo shoots, working with stylists, as well as creating shopping pages for the magazine. After a few years at InStyle she moved to Allure Magazine to become the Associate Accessories Editor. She later was promoted to American Fashion Market Editor, where she currently holds this position.
